LS Mtron (CEO SHIN Chai-Ho), a company under LS Group specializing in industrial machinery and high-tech parts, announced on the 19th that it had held a completion ceremony for its second plant for injection molding machines* located in Wuxi, China, as well as a briefing session for new products in the presence of about 200 people, including the governor of the Xinwu Qu government in Wuxi, China, representatives of clients and suppliers, and Managing Director Park Chan-Seong, the head of LS Mtron Injection System Business Unit.

LS Mtron's injection molding machine plant in Wuxi, China was established in 2004 and is located at the LS Industrial Complex in Wuxi.With the establishment of the second plant, Mtron will produce a full line-up of hydraulic and electric injection molding machines on a site of 20,000 m2.With the completion of the second injection molding machine plant in Wuxi, China, LS Mtron has secured the capability to stably supply electric injection molding machines, whose market is expanding, and it is expected to drastically reduce the lead time of products produced in China.

The products produced at the injection molding machine plant in Wuxi, China, are sold not only domestically in China, but all over the world through LS Mtron's global network along with the products produced at LS Mtron'sJeonju plant in Korea.

Notably, the completion ceremony attracted great attention from customers in attendance with a demonstration of LS Mtron's smart factory solution CSI (Connected & Smart Injection) 4.0*, a new injection molding machine for domestic use in China, and an exhibition of multi-color large injection molding machines.

LS Mtron is starting full-fledged sales of customized special injection molding machines in China, where demand is increasing along with the rapid growth of the electric vehicle market, as it actively transforms into an injection system solution company in China as well.
